We both grew up in families that taught us the value of land ownership. After starting our own family, we realized that we wanted to build a land business to help others keep the dream of land ownership alive.

Behind The Name
“Land and Clark” is a nod to the great expedition of Lewis and Clark.
In 1803 the Louisiana Purchase, the agreement which gave the US approximately 828,000 square miles of land – almost doubled the size of the nation. The US only paid about three cents an acre (we offer more per acre 😉) for the land that stretched from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains and from the Gulf of Mexico to the Canadian border.
Purchasing this land was one thing, but exploring it was another. Jefferson planned an expedition to investigate the territory and assembled a team of explorers led by Lewis and Clark. Upon their return, they brought with them mapped uncharted land, rivers and mountains – as well as incredible stories that made other American dream about heading west.
